Terrible decision, there has always been massive risks in the Dakar both from the event itself and from 'attacks' but of course nowadays health and safety precludes many things.

I love to see it but coverage, available to me, is very limited.

Yeah I remember you followed it a few years ago Tor.

Here in Holland there's usually very decent coverage of it, however it never really got me interested.
