As the Title suggests it was an automobile club luncheon not specifically a Rally luncheon but the guest speaker made it all the more worthwhile for us Subaru owners.
Right from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The marshalls had already been told to expect us and directed us to reserved parking spaces directly infront of the country house.
We entered the building, again welcomed by the organisers, who then went on to point us to our table which had been reserved on the small stage right next to David Richards CBE.
Once we had eaten our excellent lunch it was then time to listen to Mike Broad (ex Rally navigator) interview the Prodrive boss - an hour of very interesting, and amusing discussion took place followed by questions from the audience.
David Richards was more than happy to autograph things that we offered up, happy to chat, very informed and willing to share information and quite a few little bits of news.
