The NZV8 Reverse Grid

John McIntyre, My Favorite driver.

The Toyota Racing series field goes past.

Team Kiwi Racing's Commodore that was destroyed at Bathurst. Paul Radisich was launched upside down when he hit a tyre barrier just after the chase, bwriting off the car and breaking 3 ribs and his sternum and an ankle. The team needs to find $400,000 before December 2 in order to replace the car for next year. You can see where they cut Radisich out of the car on the left hand 'A' pillar.

The Mini Grid.

This never made it on to the track unfortunatly.

A formula Ford.

Porsche cup always amazes me, the drivers don't sound like they are really trying due to the flat four noise but if one of them makes a mistake and comes sliding across the infield towards you they're not hanging about mf_laughbounce2.gif

Yeah they do go fast. Like most motorsports, TV just doesn't do it justice. I don't think people really understand how fast these and other race cars go until you see them crash.

And Yeah, they do have a funny exhaust note as well. Makes them sound stifled or something. These are probably cars raced in Europe a couple of years ago. Theres only one or two new ones in the field.

Yes, stood on the infield at Oulton park with a press photographer that a mate of mine knew. All I remember is the photographer shouting "go uphill!"
