Valentino Rossi will be racing in Novembers Rally of NZ. I think this is his second attempt at a WRC event he will be driving some mugs Subaru just hope he gets further than he did in his first WRC event.
Should be good for the Profile of the Rally to have Rossi there the roads are good but they can bite you real quick and ther odd wandering Sheep can be an issue.

He's not doing very well but his car is still on the road so thats a good thing. I think he's just doing it for fun.
Last I heard he was in 27th place (last place) and 7 minutes behind the leader. But as you said, he's kept it on the road so far and is doing it for fun
up to 16th last i herd but the wet weather is taking its toll on the cars with 6 crashing out in one stage
