What a race, unbelievable amount of carnage, with no less than 10 safety car periods during the event! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the race.. all 8 1/2 hours of it!!
Shame to see Ford win the first Peter Brock trophy though!!!

I really miss seeing that race, used to watch it on Sky but I no longer have Sky and I'm not even sure if it's still shown on there anyhow.
I suppose there'll be a video out soon, might have a look at buying that.

Great Race... Weather stayed out of it this time, and we saw more Safety cars!!! If a Ford was to win I'm happy it was Lowndesy...
