Good job from him. Its 4 out of 5 so far. Some impresive staff from Danica aswell. S.Bourdais would have finished in the top 5 if he didnt crash 3 laps till the end.

Dixon crashed out as usual, he needs to get out of indy cars now.

It wasn't his fault, Dixon had nothing to do with the crash. Some f*ckwit crashed into him

And well done to Dan

Yeah, I wish Dixon was in F1. He deserves to be in a proper driving series.
By the way, well done to Danica Patrick

Danica should have won, that would have been a great step for the sport in general
Bourdais did good too, I don't understand why the F1 teams don't want him

I hope so, but our commentator said that Bernie tolld Danica years ago that he didn't want here in F1, and she should stop racing.
I think Bernie might have to reconsider that

Her aim is F1. That's all she wants but I guess most drivers do

Imagine the publicity an F1 team would get if she drove for them. If I was Peter Sauber I would sign her.

Yeah, he's a legend. He's the next big kiwi driver. Is he a possibility for A1?

Yes I heard he was. I also heard they might change drivers every round. EG- Murphy might do a round, Dixon, Pither, Cunningham, Radisich etc.

Dixon, Cunningham and Murph?

Did you hear that Dixon got offered a one off drive for Team Kiwi Racing in the V8 Supercar series?

Yes as a co-driver for the endurance rounds- Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000. It will be good if he does it, I'd be interested to see how he goes in a tin top, but I think hes pretty much an open wheel specialist. However, I thought the same thing about Baird, and he was World touring car champion.

We had drinks with Baird at Melbourne. Nice guy

Baird? was world touring car champ? I must have missed that one I know The Rat was twice Champion and was lined up for an F1 test with Benneton Ford at the time as well but as with most tests that deal never eventuated.
Matt Halliday will most likely be the first A1 driver for the Kiwi Team
Dixons locked into a multi year indy deal and good on him but i think hes wasting himself might even end up in Nascar at some point of course he also raced in the tin top nissan sentra series putting the car on its roof at the first meeting as a 13 year old

NO!! I was wrong, Baird wasn't wtc champ but he won the Bathurst super touring car race 3 times, and has won 16 new zealand championships.
I was thinking of Radisich.

Watched the highlights last night and the sycophantic commentators made me want to
The first Brit to win the Indy 500 since Graham Hill - which they only mentioned on a strap at the bottom of the screen  - and all they are interested in is some woman who started & finished 4th
And get this 5 races into the season and they are already proclaiming her rookie of the year
