i say all 19...heck, the drivers don't get to choose how many races they want to actually count, why should we...?

As we all forget a few or have a disadvantage for a few ie on holiday or busy with other means.

Yes if they pm them because for two GP's no make that three I am away, so can't add unless pm'ed.

just thinking here...maybe we could have it to where (well if 19 actually gets chosen) your picks from the previous race is used if you happen (for whatever reason) to not be able to post your picks during a givin round?

Everyone would have to agree to it then and I guess not having a good pole time would make people more likely to predict new everytime.

I don't like that. 17 is better ... there are a few fantasy websites that are running it with just the 17 best results so you can miss a few.

Well we'll see, I doubt everyone will vote or see this thread that plays, so I'll make it an option on the next predictions. Doesn't help when I thought I had said 16 not 17 when I first came up with the idea

Exactly ... including all 19 ruins the game if someone misses one. Not their fault if they are too busy to post.

I think a rule should be bought in whereby if you miss a race then your previous predictions rollover to that race too so that way everyone gets 19 races

I'm still leaning towards 17 I'm afraid - the numbers that play isn't that big and so if a few members forget a round or someting crops up and they haven't got the time, then it ruins the whole season for them and the game isn't as close.

However if there is going to be a split down the middle then settle for 18? Unless someone wishes to change a vote so we do have a majority!

i'm okay with 18...everyone should be entitled to miss one...or have one not counted in the end.

The reason I wanted less than 19 to be counted, was that last year it was somewhat ruined with people missing a race - probably the reason I won, as when you run it you don't miss predicting (unless I am completely stupid ) and also because of my holidays this year I miss a few races so deadlines will be changing, so it isn't exactly anyone's fault if a prediction is missed. So:

19 - and we have already disadvantaged 3 members who have not entered both rounds already, surely this will increase by the end of the season. Pole time accounts for a lot and so simply using old predictions won't work.

18 - a compromise between those who want 19 and those that want 17. If this is agreed then I am willing to allow late predictions that gain no advantage ie no sessions run after deadline and time predictions made, sent by pm.

17- I still think this is better as it will enable a closer game and those that go away on holiday or miss earlier deadlines do not have to worry that they have no chance of winning.

Either way, anyone could miss a prediction and its all good and well thinking you won't, but no one intends to and like last year showed many end up forgetting once and then your chances have almost gone.

Then people don't try to predict or keep track of deadlines. What's wrong with 17 or 18 races?

Also TORTUGA didn't play the first round, so there is no previous predictions.

Without pole times the competition won't be close or fair, whereas not counting 1 or 2 is, as they are slightly disadvantaged because I have less picks to count the top 17/18 from, but not enough to mean they can't win any longer.
