Anyone can join in at any time and members can make advanced predictions if they are away for any of the gp weekends. The aim of the game is to predict which drivers you think will make up the top 8 finishers in the race (hence the name ) If two members get the same number of points then whoever gets the closest pole position time is listed first.

Round 1

Please predict Saturday's final qualifying pole position time by Friday 11pm GMT (subject to change). The members with the 8 closest pole predictions will be awarded bonus points, this will be scored in the F1 points system (1st=10, 2nd=8, 3rd=6, 4th=5, 5th=4, 6th=3, 7th=2 & 8th=1)

(1)First Driver to Pit.
(2)Tyre that has most podium places.
(3) 'How many cars will make it to lap 2?'
Correctly guessing (1) is a bonus of 4 points, correctly guessing (2) is a bonus of two points, correctly guessing (3) is a bonus of one point. One of these three may change in the season depending on what happens, e.g one last year was 'who will Ralf crash into'

All predictions must be posted by 11pm GMT Friday 4th March and if you wish to make any changes to your predictions then please repost them .

Scoring:
3 points if the driver finishes in the position you predicted
2 points if the driver finishes one below/above the position you predicted
1 point if the driver you predicted finishes somewhere in the points
Max Points: 24

I will post the results soon after the race. Anyone can start playing at any point in the season and there may be a prize on offer for the winner (depending on whether I have any money to spend at Silverstone).
