So a 2.2 L engine would have less valves than a 5.8 L? :headscratch.gif:

more valves, more things to go wrong. Mitsubishi's normally have the most per litre on thier engines, and they are bastard bloody things to work on, especially the V6 ones....

I have a 16v 1.8l GL 626/Capella, its done about 227000 Km, about half its lifespan. It is white, but tinted poo brown from the metal road, and has a fastidiously maintained interior, because I clean all the junk food wrappers out once a month. Under the bonnet/hood, it's immacculate though. I take perfect care of it, and oil and filter change every 10 thousand Ks, and lead/plug and water/fluid change her every 20 thousand Ks. I do give it a good thrashing though, normally lives on about 6000RPM, so I'm waiting for someone to steal it so I can collect insurance, or sieze up so I can leave it on the side of the road. laugh.gif

LOL Lynda - You're not the first person to say that !! wink.gif

Renault Meghane's have the tendancy to bring the truth out of people - Don't they ??

You either love them, or hate them - No middle ground !!

P.S. I miss my Holden Ute mecry.gif

Motor gave up around 240,000 km, before I bought the car. It has 302,000 km on the clock now biggrin.gif

Yeah, I like it, quite powerfull, holds on to the road well. (well I havnt spun it like my last one) 5 doors, electric windows, air con, all things my last car didnt have, and I pay 50 quid less per month for this one than I did for my Seat biggrin.gif
Lynda
Cheers, Rob.....I don't like Fiats as a rule but that is a very nicelooking car.
