I'm probably getting a new car tomorrow biggrin.gif My old car is a green auto 1978 Toyota Corolla which is a piece of shit (was given it though biggrin.gif ) Here is a pic of a similar car:

I am probably buying an auto 1994 Mazda Familia. Here is a pic of a similar one (the one I'm looking at is silver though):

It will cost me $5,000. It will be great to finally have power steering, side mirrors, decent acceleration, decent brakes etc and it actually changes gears properly laugh.gif

Its great when you get a new car... I want to trade mine in shortly but I'm probably best actually keeping it for another 12 months as I bought it cheap with high mileage ( with full bmw s/h) and I dont use it much so if I keep it for 2 years the mileage will eventually become 'average' for its age and him indoors will get back what we paid for it.

Have been looking around though at second hand cars... not sure what to get though... any suggestions would be appreciated!!

You can get a car thats a damn-site better than that for $5g :wacky: . I'd look at a Nissan silvia, or Honda Accord, or maybe even a Nissan Primera. :thumbs.gif:

Mazda's have recently come out top in the latest JD Power survey for reliability, I've never owned a Mazda myself, and we don't even have that model in the UK *to my knowledge* but I'm sure it's a damned good car, and silver is the colour to have biggrin.gif

Let us know how you go on :thumbs.gif:

Good luck...I'd not have silver though as it's too common....why doesn't a young chap like you get a nippy hatchback though. That Mazda looks a bit oldie-fied !!
Love Lynda XX.
PS-My Pedro's an automatic and I love it....

I bought it biggrin.gif I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance. It's only done 64,000 km so that aint too bad
